PTE Calendar

The following events occur on an annual basis as directed by the national office. Individual chapters are encouraged to host additional events in alignment with the PTE mission for their current and alumni members.

August 2017

August 9, 2017. Deadline for Lifetime Members to register for Facilitating Return to Work After Stroke Across the Continuum of Care available August 14-28, 2017. 

AOTF scholarships (including the Martha J. Kirkland Endowed Scholarship) open. 

September 2017

 

September 13, 2017.  Call for Posters Deadline to submit a poster for PTE Poster Session at the AOTA/NBCOT Student Conclave. 

October 2017

October 1.  Deadline for the President's Award and the Mary J. Bridle First Research Award. 

November 2017

November 3-4, 2017.   SAVE THE DATE -- AOTA/NBCOT Student Conclave in Birmingham, Alabama. 
PTE holds its Annual Business Meeting at the Conclave, as well as a Poster Session and a Special Presentation.

Chapters are encouraged to have a delegate present to vote on amendments and learn about current and ongoing PTE initiatives. Chapters may send a Resolution Form to the National Office with topics they would like considered for voted during the Annual Business Meeting. Students may also join the Nominations Committee and Minutes-Review Committee at the Business Meeting. 

January 2018

January 23, 2018.  Deadline for Lifetime members to register for Creating the Evidence in Clinical Practice: Case Study and Single Subject Research available January 29 - February 12, 2018.

February-March 2018 Requests for nominations to run for PTE National Office are sent to chapters and alumni members. PTE President and Secretary elections are held on odd calendar years, while PTE Vice President and Treasurer are held on even calendar years. A nomination form must be completed to be included as a candidate. If you are an active PTE student or alumni interested in in joining the National Office, request additional information at pte@aotf.org.

April 2018 April 19-21, 2018.  AOTA Annual Conference in Salt Lake City.
April 18, 2018, Wednesday.  SAVE THE DATE!  
Annual Pi Theta Epsilon Alumni Reception and Faculty Advisors Workshop at the AOTA Annual Conference.   

May 2018 May 1, 2018.  Deadline for Lifetime members to register for Evidence-based Intervention for Balance and Falls Prevention available May 7-21, 2018.
