Jane O'Brien
Jane O’Brien is Professor at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. Dr. O’Brien received her doctorate from the University of South Carolina and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She uses the Model of Human Occupation as the foundation for therapeutic reasoning courses and research on pediatric issues and outcomes, such as motor control and motor learning, self-efficacy, and play. Dr. O’Brien is author of Introduction to OT and co-editor of Case-Smith’s OT for Children and Adolescents, Pediatric Skills for OT Assistants, and Occupational Analysis and Group Process.
